Being able to develop a large residual income is based entirely on being able to develop a large membership network that includes customers ( Shopper and Associate Members ) and business builders (VIPs ).

Just like a stool requires 3 strong legs to stand, your business also requires 3 things to stay standing:

1. You need to have simple and duplicable methods to prospect for and gain new Members. The ClubAdvantage Business Building System provides you with everything you need to do this.
2. You need to have an effective method to develop your membership network. As a ClubAdvantage subscribing VIP, you have some of the very best training, tools and programs to build a strong and growing network using a method that was first created by DHS Club Founder Dick Burke, which he called the ""Vertical Integration Plan"." Since it's inception, the method has been tested, perfected and renamed to suit the dynamic power that it has. It is now called TNT ( Taproot Networking Technique ).
3. You need to have products and services of real value, so that the members in your network continue to do business using their DHS Club membership and their ClubBucks Rewards Cards.

In this lesson, you are going to learn the fundamentals of TNT and how it will begin to work for you to effectively get your membership network started.

_{Start-up Incentive Program}

As an incentive for Members to see the potential of becoming a VIP and to provide them with a "hand up" to help them get started, the DHS Club has created a members' "Start-up Incentive Program" or SIP. Once a Member has been transferred to another Member, the recipient has 30 days to upgrade to become a VIP or they will lose the Member(s)that were transferred to them.It is possible that this is one of the reasons that you upgraded to become a VIP. If so, then you can see the value of this program and why you will want to do the same things for your new Members as well.

_{Seeing Is Believing!}

Certainly faith is a requirement to succeed in any endeavor. We have to believe it before we will ever see it. However, most people need to see it, before they will believe it!

Our Start-up Incentive Program which permits VIPs to transfer some of their Members to start a membership network for an Associate Member or a new VIP, creates ACTIVITY in the downline of the upline Members. Then as some of the Members in the line make purchases or have subscriptions, this creates Organizational Pay Points for all the Members upline from the purchasing or subscribing Members.

This is the " evidence" that most people need to see to believe!

_{TNT is NOT a "Hand Out "!}

It has been said that when you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you help him feed himself for a lifetime. Giving "hand outs" or offering to do the work for someone else will not get you what you want.

What you want is motivated workers that will multiply and increase your Organizational Pay Points and income. You want leaders not leaner's. You want winners, not whiners. You want people that are willing to get a "hand up" but do not want a "hand out".

TNT helps you discover these people and then provides you with a duplicable system to train them in and pass on to them.

Also included in your ClubAdvantage subscription is access to a number of valuable reports to help you see and track your membership network, activity and sales. These reports are shown at the Business Reports area at your VIP Control Center. In this lesson, we want to introduce you to your Network Report, so you can see if you have a membership network started yet and to see the members in your network.

Your assignments for this lesson are:

As you take and complete the Trainee Courses, your Network Builder will continue to transfer Members to your network in a single, vertical line. By viewing your Vertical Lines Report at your Network Report, you will be able to watch it grow. While this line of Members is growing, your Network Builder and other Team Coaches will be in contact with these Members to answer their questions, communicate with them about special offers and notifying them about how the Start-up Incentive program can work for them too.

Hopefully, some of these Members will become customers and upgrade to VIP also, to begin to create an income for you. That way you can start earning while you are learning! You will learn in the next course, how these member customers and VIPs will create a beginning Organizational Income for you, based on your " Organizational Pay Points".

Then as you begin to gain your own Members and complete the 4th Course and Step (Builder Intern) you will be trained in how to use TNT to create a second and additional vertical member lines. As you do so and complete the 5th Step and Course (Network Builder), you will have the knowledge and the experience to assume the Role of Network Builder for your membership network.
